With the launch of our new website, we now have a Blog to keep our clients informed about news and developments at Superplants.
So, to bring us up-to-date here is a brief outline of where we stand:
2012 was very steady, given the UK's economic climate, and finished with a flourish with an excellent number of Christmas tree and short term hire orders.
We moved into 2013 cautiously optimistic and looking forward to the uplift predicted for the economy.
There have been a number of changes to the team, and we are now delighted to announce that we have recently strengthened our ranks with a new London and Home Counties technician, a new Somerset exterior technician, a new Reading/M4 exterior technician, and additional part-time help at our Somerset nursery. As usual, we need help during the busy Summer period, so we are currently employing three students to assist with the increased exterior ground maintenance workload, and nursery work.
We have recently installed new schemes across the country, with a number of new installations in London and new schemes for clients in Brentford, Leamington Spa, Reading, Sherborne, and Yeovil.
As always, it was good to be asked by other plant companies to handle a number of maintenance projects on their behalf - it all helps to make maintenance programmes 'greener' and more efficient.
Exterior Planting & Grounds Maintenance:
This sector of our business is building well, especially in the South West and in London where we have installed a number of new schemes, including a roof terrace planting for a presigious hotel, and have been appointed to handle additional grounds maintenance for clients of a large facilities organisation.
We have recently installed new schemes for clients in Weston Super Mare, Oxford, London, and Edinburgh, and our mail order shop sales continue to perform.
We have seen an uplift in the number of short term hires for events, exhibitions and festivals.
We have designed and supplied short term planting schemes for the Royal Bath & West Show, and for clients at Glastonbury Festival, Latitude Festival, The Royal Welsh Show and many more events, weddings, and parties.
We continue to improve the infrastructure at our nursery at Sigwells, and continually recycle our green waste, cardboard, and our plastic flowerpots.
